1000 mL vs 2000 mL Urine Collection Bags
The bags hold 1 liter and 2 liters. Choose for the bag position and care schedule, with an outlet you can reach for emptying.
On this page
A 1000 mL bag holds 1 liter; a 2000 mL bag holds 2 liters. Both sizes come with the PSNOOK external collection kit.
Choose the bag for the available space and the person’s care instructions. A larger capacity does not tell you how long to wear it or wait before emptying.
Capacity and Emptying Time
1000 mL is 1 liter; 2000 mL is 2 liters. Use the size specified for your care and follow the checking and emptying schedule.
A larger bag does not establish how long to wear the collector or leave the bag unchecked.
Connecting the Bag
The kit pairs the bags with an external silicone collector, adjustable support briefs, and an approximately 1-metre tube. Connect the selected bag to the tube and support it as directed in the setup guide.
Reaching the Outlet
Plan where the selected bag will be supported and who will access the outlet for emptying. Consider the clothing and the position of the tube at the same time.
Point the outlet into the container used for emptying. Slide the blue cross-piece sideways to open the flow, then slide it back to close. Follow the bag’s hygiene instructions.
Cleaning and Replacement
Follow the cleaning, checking, and replacement instructions for each reusable part. Inspect the bag, connection, and valve before use.
