PSNOOK Guide
Where to Fasten a Chest Band: Front, Side, or Back?
Choose a fastening position you can reach, allow enough overlap, and try the band over the clothes you will wear.
On this page
You can fasten the PSNOOK chest band at the front, side, or back. Choose a position you or your helper can reach to adjust and remove it.
The overlap is where the hook end presses onto the band. Moving it changes where the fastening sits under your clothes.
Choose a Fastening You Can Reach
Front overlap is easiest to see and adjust. Side or back overlap can keep the fastening away from the front of your outer clothing.
If you need help fastening it, also plan how you or your helper will open it for removal.
Follow Prescribed Placement After Surgery
Where the closure sits and where the band sits on your chest are separate choices. After surgery, follow your surgeon’s placement and wearing instructions, even if another position looks neater under clothing.
Allow for the Overlap
The band is about 0.02 inches thick and weighs about 1.8 ounces. The overlap adds another layer beneath your clothes.
Its relaxed length is approximately 57.1 inches. Leave enough overlap for the hook end to grip securely, and keep the band flat and comfortably snug.
Try It With Your Clothes
Fit the band over the bra, tank top, or lightweight layer you will wear. Peel the hook end open, move the overlap, and press it closed again.
Check breathing, arm movement, and access to the closure. Recheck the fit when changing layers. Follow the hand-wash instructions.
Care Note
After breast surgery, use this model only if your surgeon approves it, and follow their placement, tension, and wearing schedule. For exercise, use a supportive sports bra appropriate to the activity; this band is supplementary and does not have a verified high-impact support rating. Keep the fit comfortable without restricting breathing or movement, and remove it if it causes pain, numbness, or breathing discomfort.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does 0.02-inch thickness describe the entire worn overlap?
No. That is the thickness of one layer of the band. The overlap and fastening add thickness under clothing.
