Installation & use
PSNOOK Breast Compression Band Installation & Use Guide
How to fit and adjust the PSNOOK Breast Compression Band. Follow the complete product instructions for the version you use.
Before Setup
- Prepare the lightweight base layer.
- Open the hook end and inspect the elastic channels, edges, and fastening surfaces.
- Choose the intended upper-chest placement and a reachable overlap.
Installation Steps
-
Prepare the base layer and open band
Wear a bra, tank top, or another lightweight layer. Unroll the band and separate the hook-and-loop end. Wear the band around the upper chest over the base layer; for prescribed care, use the placement specified by your care professional.
-
Bring the band around the upper chest
Keep the full width of the band flat as you bring it around the body, across the front, sides, and back. Smooth out folds or twists before fastening rather than pulling harder to flatten them.
-
Overlap and press the fastening
Bring the rectangular hook patch at the band end over the loop-compatible surface and press the overlap together. The overlap can sit at the front, side, or back; choose a position that follows the intended use and remains accessible to the wearer or an assisting person.
-
Reopen to adjust
Peel the hook end away, change the overlap, and press it closed again for a comfortably snug fit without overtightening. Use the available overlap to adjust the fit over the base layer, keeping the band flat.
-
Check and remove
Check flatness, comfort, closure engagement, and access to the overlap. Peel the hook end away to open the band for removal. Follow the individual wearing instructions when used in prescribed care.
After Setup Checks
- Smooth the band flat around the front, sides, and back.
- Press the hook patch onto the loop-compatible surface.
- Check comfort and access for opening.
During Use Checks
- Recheck comfort and overlap after clothing or placement changes.
- For prescribed care, follow the individual wearing schedule.
When to Adjust or Remove
- Peel open and readjust the band if it rolls, shifts, or feels uncomfortable.
- Replace damaged elastic sections or a fastening that no longer grips.
Daily Inspection
- Inspect the elastic channels and connecting sections for damage.
- Check the hook end and loop-compatible surface for wear or debris.
- Review fit and fastening after cleaning and before regular use.
After breast surgery, use this model only if your surgeon approves it, and follow their placement, tension, and wearing schedule. For exercise, use a supportive sports bra appropriate to the activity; this band is supplementary and does not have a verified high-impact support rating. Keep the fit comfortable without restricting breathing or movement, and remove it if it causes pain, numbness, or breathing discomfort.
