Will Leg Wraps Fit a Manual or Power Wheelchair?

A manual or power chair needs suitable attachment points for leg wraps. Check the actual frame and footrest; chair type alone does not establish fit.
Each PSNOOK wrap is 19.7 inches long and about 4 inches wide. Allow enough length for the leg or foot, chair attachment, and fastening overlap.
Find the Permitted Attachment
Use the chair instructions to identify where a wrap may attach on each side. A lower-leg wrap goes around the leg and adjacent side frame; the foot route goes around the foot and footrest. Select the route prescribed for the person.
Keep Moving Parts Clear
Keep the wrap route clear of wheels, brakes, hinges, folding components, and adjustable leg-rest parts.
When a chair setup changes, the old route and fit may need another review. A different footrest position, clothing, or footwear can change how much strap is used and where the fastening sits. Follow the equipment and care instructions for those changes.
Measure the Whole Wrap
Measure the entire wrap path, including the leg or foot, the chair route, and the fastening overlap. Position the hook patch where it can engage the loop surface and remain reachable.
Keep the Closures Reachable
The wearer or helper must be able to peel each wrap open for the prescribed checks and removal. Recheck the route and fit after changing the chair, footrests, shoes, or clothing.
